Authorized on September 27, 2001 by the mail n°1508/PAC/DG/DDEP/SF, and renewed on October 20, 2008 by the mail n°2319/PAC/DG/DDEP/SF, the CITC started indeed the operations of consignment in 2007. Thus in 2007, we had consigned on July 8, 2007 ship ROSA MYSTICA to the export of 1.267? 200 of cotton oil cakes in destination of DAKAR. In 2008, the CITC could consign the ships successively: - ALPINE STAR of October 10 2008,1.300 Tons of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS); - ALPINE STAR of the 21 at October 22, 2008, 2.535 Tons of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS); - MT JULIETTE BLESSING of the 12 at December 15, 2008, 1.080 Tons of Dual Purpose Kerosene; - MT PLUTO of the 18 at December 20, 2008, 1.200 Tons of Dual Purpose Kerosene; - MT PLUTO of December 30, 2008 to January 3, 2009, 3.800 Tons of Dual Purpose Kerosene. Goal of the representation Currently all the provisions are taken to increase the traffic of the ships for the future. On this, the CITC representing official International Maritime WP group which will place at the disposal of the CITC all the modern equipment necessary for the development of the roads of Cotonou in order to increase the financial resources of the Port authority of Cotonou, lung of the Beninese economy. Within the framework of this representation, we will have to operate in the following fields: - STS, Ship to ship, (operation of ship in the ship on roads); - Cleaning of the cisterns; - Liquid waste Processings; - Hiring of the high-speed motorboats; - Supply of the ships of vivres and fresh water; - Refuelling; - And other maritime activities. |
